September 2008 – Speeding in Johnstownbridge to be addressed says Brady

Deputy Aine Brady has been informed by Kildare Co Co that, following her representations, the alleged speeding in the village of Johnstownbridge will be investigated in the coming weeks.

'I have been informed by Kildare Co Co that arrangements will be made to have speed radars put in place in the Main Street of Johnstownbridge in the coming weeks to ascertain the extent of the alleged speeding problem in the Village.' stated Deputy Brady.

'The council will then review the information and see what appropriate action should take place. In my view, we need speed calming measures, such as speed tables, to reduce the speed on this road.' concluded Deputy Brady.
