September 2008 – Accessibility Works at Sallins Station in 2009

Deputy Aine Brady has been informed by Iarnrod Eireann that lifts will be provided at Sallins Rail Station as part of the overall programme to upgrade Rail Stations to improve their accessibility.

'I have raised this issue with Iarnrod Eireann and I am delighted that they have included the works in their overall programme. The works will take place in 2009.'

'Many commuters have raised this issue with me and I delighted that we have made progress.' concluded Deputy Brady.
