August 2008 – Brady urges Kildare Small Businesses to check out Training Programmes


Deputy Aine Brady has been informed by Kildare County Enterprise Board that it will again role out its Autumn Training Programme this year, commencing in late September.

‘Kildare Enterprise Board has introduced some new workshops / seminars in their training programmes this Autumn. New seminars include - An Introduction to doing Business in China, The Art of Negotiation, Saving on Energy Costs and Effective Leadership.'

‘Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, currently employing 800,000 in the country. We must continue to support them by introducing measures to reduce red tape, role out of the Tech-Check programme and continue to implement the recommendations from the Small Business Forum report.' Stated Deputy Brady.

‘Kildare County Enterprise Board (KCEB) and its Chief Executive Donal Dalton, deserve great credit for updating its programme so that their courses are relevant in a changing business environment. Details of all the courses available can be obtained from the Board on 045 861 707.'

‘Earlier this year the Government announced a revised Research and Development Grant Scheme which will be available to companies across all sectors, including construction and services companies.
