May 2008 – Roads around Staplestown Set for Improvement

Deputy Aine Brady has been informed by Kildare Co Co that a number of roads around the Stapletown area will be improved this year.

'The Staplestown cross to Mount Armstrong (700m), Staplestown cross to the Range (750m)  (ongoing at the moment)
Staplestown cross to Prosperous (120m) (section across bog that failed in January of this year) and Ballagh Cross to knockanally (1300m) will be resurfaced.' stated Deputy Brady.

'I warmly welcome the proposed imporvements and we must continue to imporve the roads in the area, in particular in the North West Kildare area.' concluded Deputy Brady.
