May 2008 – Ardclough Bus service now links with Maynooth says Brady

Deputy Aine Brady has welcomed the linking of the Ardclough Community Feeder Bus Service to Maynooth. The service is provided by OK Transport and is funded by the Department of Community and Rural Affairs through Pobal.

'Earlier this month, we launched the weekly Thursday feeder Bus Service from Ardclough to Celbridge. The service has todate received considerable support from the Ardclough Community. Many residents in Ardclough use the Bus service and avail of the facilities and services in Celbridge.  Celbridge is linked to Public Transport; by Bus, with Dublin Bus and the Mortons Group, and with the Rail Station at Hazelhatch.'

'Following consultation with OK Transport, an agreement has now been reached to link the service in with Maynooth; which has further links to Public Transport and other services. The service will still leave Ardclough at 9.30am, link into Maynooth and then travel to Maynooth. The service will then return to Ardclough via Celbridge.'

'I would like to again congratulate all those involved in bringing this project to the level that it is now at. For those interested in obtaining further information about the service, please contact OK Transport on 045 528 124.' concluded Deputy Brady, who launched the service earlier this month.
