June 2008 – Works on Maynooth Ambulance Base to start says Brady

Deputy Aine Brady has been informed by the HSE that the works at the Maynooth Business Campus to convent a unit and make it suitable for an Ambulance Base will commence week beginning 8th of June.

'The planning permission (change of use) was granted recently and a fire certificate has been issued. Actual works will commence next week and it will take approximately 10 weeks to complete the work and will be ready by August.'

'The new site will be an ideal location given its access to the Motorway and other link roads. It will  also provide better facilities for those working with the Ambulance Service.' concluded Deputy Brady
