June 2008 – Temporary Accommodation approved for Newtown School

Deputy Aine Brady has been informed by the Minister for Education, Mr. Batt O'Keeffe, TD, that his Department has sanctioned Temporary Accommodation for the Newtown National School.

'The Department has approved the provision of Temporary Accommodation adjacent to the Newtown school. It will consist of one 80m2 mainstream classroom. The Building Unit of the Department has been in contact with the school to inform them of their decision.' concluded Deputy Brady.
